CONCEPT

Starting from the metaphor of the garden presented by Hayao Miyazaki in the film Howl’s Moving Castle, where nature symbolizes peace amid war, this collection is built on a personal reflection centered on the search for peace through a deep connection with nature, in contrast to what is created by humans—such as war.

To translate this reflection into a fashion collection, I take nature—and more specifically, flowers—as the main conceptual reference. I use organic silhouettes, soft textures, a warm color palette, and incorporate techniques such as natural dyeing (specifically dip dyeing) and gathering

The target user of this collection is a man between 25 and 35 years old, with a well-groomed appearance and a comfortable lifestyle. He identifies as open-minded and creative, which is reflected in his occupation as a creative director at a fashion editorial magazine.

Environmental awareness is an integral part of his life, and he shows a deep concern for the climate crisis. This is evident in his dietary choices, as he has opted not to consume meat and prefers to shop at organic stores—demonstrating his commitment to sustainability.
